PURPOSE:To prevent a defect such as a white stripe(void) from appearing on a transferred image even when an image forming action is executed after an electrostatic charge roller is left as it is in the state in contact with a photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:A control means 30 rotating the photoreceptor 1 to a position where the part (a) thereof having been in contact with the electrostatic charge roller 2 is brought into contact with a developing sleeve 6a rotating in contact with the photoreceptor 1 and rotating the sleeve 6a in a prescribed time there before the image forming action is started is provided. Then, the soiling of the part (a) of the photoreceptor 1 in contact with the roller 2 is cleaned before the image forming action is started by rotating the sleeve 6a and excellent image quality without the defect of the image is obtained. It is good that the prescribed rotating time and the rotational speed of the sleeve 6a are respectively changed according to the length of the time that the photoreceptor 1 and the roller 2 are left in contact with each other. |
