PURPOSE:To facilitate control of a swinging direction, a swinging angle, positioning, etc., by a method wherein a magnetic sensor which outputs an electric signal corresponding to the intensity of a flux between the N-pole and S-pole of a rotor is provided and a current applied to an armature so provided on a stator side under a single-phase current application arrangement as to swing relatively to the rotor is switched in accordance with the output signal. CONSTITUTION:A two-pole magnet rotor 11 is attached to the outer circumference of a rotary shaft 10 with a magnetic material ring 15 therebetween to form a swinger 16. A coreless stator armature 17 is so composed of two hollow armature coils 18 arranged to be adjacent to each other in a circumferential direction as to have a single-phase current application structure which facilitates the generation of a torque in a required direction when a current is applied. A swinging angle detecting sensor 20 is so provided as to face the magnet rotor 11 with a radial direction gap therebetween to generate an electric signal corresponding to the intensity of the magnetic flux between the N-pole and S-pole of the magnet rotor 11. The current applied to the stator armature 17 is switched in accordance with the signal to control the swinging angle and swinging direction of the swinger 16, positioning, etc. |
