The invention relates to a dryer for wet products. This dryer comprises a row of parallel hollow discs (5), spaced along the length of a chamber (1) and fixed to the walls of this chamber. A heat-exchange fluid flows through these discs. Plates (6), fixed to a rotating shaft (9) and bearing scrapers (12) for scraping the surfaces of the discs are arranged between these discs. The invention applies in particular to drying sludge in a purification plant. <IMAGE>
