REMOTE CONFERENCE SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To freely change and add the conference forms and to effectively use the communications servers and a communications network in a remote conference system by connecting together plural communications terminals and communications servers via the communications network and making these servers give answers to conference applications made among those communications terminals. CONSTITUTION:A communications terminal 40-1 broadcasts the conference applications to the communications servers 60-1 and 60-2 via a communications network 300. When the terminal 40-1 receives a conference application answer showing an idle state from the server 60-1, the terminal 40-1 broadcasts the conference start requests to the terminals 40-2 to 40-4 and the server 60-1 which join a conference. Then the terminal 40-1 receives the conference start answers from all terminals that sent the requests and the server 60-1 and then proceeds to a conference mode. Thus it is possible to set a conference among communications terminals and to effectively use the network 300 by making plural communications terminals share plural communications servers.
