The invention relates to an internal-combustion piston engine with a cylinder head, which seals off a cylinder block, and with gas exchange valves as well as rocker-arm bearing mounts and an air-intake line. The invention is based on the object of providing an internal-combustion piston engine, of which the expenditure on production, assembly and bearing parts is reduced compared to conventional constructions. The object is achieved in that a cylinder-head cap (1) is connected detachably and in an oil-tight manner to the cylinder head (12), and in that the cylinder-head cap (1) is constructed in one piece with the rocker-arm bearing mounts (17) and the air-intake line (2). <IMAGE>
