RUBBER CRAWLER DISPOSAL METHOD AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To provide a rubber crawler disposal method and device which able to easily embody complete separation between a rubber part and a metal part constituting a rubber crawler from the standpoint of resource reutilization in time of dismantling this rubber crawler. CONSTITUTION:An endless rubber crawler 1 is cut by a preparatory cutting press 14 and sped out flatly. A longitudinal cut line is put in a central separation projected part of the rubber crawler 1 by a cutter part. An AC current is made to flow into an induction heating coil 23 set up in the periphery of the rubber crawler 1, heating a surface of at least a metal part in the rubber crawler. A rubber part to be joined to this metal part is made to raise its temperature, whereby joining force in the part is deteriorated. Tension is applied to an interval between both sides of the rubber part perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the rubber crawler 1, tearing off the rubber part from the center, and then the metal part is separated downward through its own weight. The rubber part is cut into block form by both horizontal and vertical cutting presses 35 and 36 of the cutter part.
