<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display element reducing an element size and preventing picture quality deterioration by integrating a scan line drive circuit on a liquid crystal panel and constituting so as to discharge perfectly charges charged on the scan line driven before when one scan line is driven. SOLUTION: A charge transfer system scan line drive circuit 600 incorporated in the liquid crystal display element and integrated on the liquid crystal panel is provided with a drive part 610 and a discharge part 620. The drive part 610 generates scan line drive signals Vg-out1 to Vg-outn driving respective scan lines of the liquid crystal panel by clock signals Q1, Q2 applied from a control part. The discharge part 620 discharges the scan line drive signals Vg-out1 to Vg-outn generated from the drive part 610. That is, in this drive circuit, when the relevant scan line is driven by the scan line drive signal, the drive signal of the relevant scan line before is discharged automatically by the relevant scan line drive signal.</p> |
