<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recorder in which overheat of a heat generating element is suppressed by reducing a conducting current and an interruption of a process due to stop of printing is eliminated by thinning out print dots. CONSTITUTION:A line pulse C and a thinning dot pulse D formed by FFs l, 2 are inputted to an exclusive OR circuit 4. Since the pulse C is 'H' and the pulse D is 'H' during a first line period, the pulse D inverted to 'L' is output as a thinning dot designation signal E. On the other hand, since the pulse C is 'L' and the pulse D is 'H' without change during a second line period, the pulse D is outputted as the signal E as it is. The signal E and actual print data F are inputted to an AND circuit 5.</p> |
