PURPOSE:To provide a front fork for a bicycle and a manufacturing method thereof by which rigidity of a connecting part between a crown part and a stem part can be heightened and which can be manufactured at a low cost and by which surface smoothness of a product becomes excellent and labor of secondary work can be eliminated and the productivity can be enhanced. CONSTITUTION:A core body 6 is formed of a thermally expansive material, and the outer peripheral surface is covered with fiber reinforced plastic 11 through metallic or resinous reinforcing members 9 divided to cover a steam part 8 from a crown part 7 of this core body 6, and these are integrally molded.
