The description relates to a device and process for shaping tights in which the tights are drawn over two adjacent templates (242, 244) with the outline of a flat projection of the front view of a human leg, whereby the templates (242, 244) can be arranged in a mutually parallel position at least by being pulled down. The tights are drawn over the templates (242, 244) preferably in an aligned position one behind the other and then treated with heat, preferably steam, to give them a shape and finally removed from the templates (242, 244). This provides a shaped pair of tights, the legs of which have the shape of a flat projection of a front view of the human leg, firstly making it possible to provide a better presentation of the finished hosiery and secondly facilitating putting the tights on and taking them off. |
