摘要 It is known to control the drive unit (3) of an electric vehicle by means of a controller (1). The safety standard and comfort requirements such as are required today by modern traction means cannot be provided purely by means of a controller operation in conjunction with highly dynamic electric drives. In order to control the locomotion of an electric vehicle in such a way that its locomotion proceeds with limited jolting and acceleration at all times, a control device (2) is connected between the controller (1) and the drive unit (3). This control device (2) switches through, as a function of prescribed and/or operation situation-dependent parameters, a desired value (F<*>H) of the controller force, which is prescribed by the controller (1), in a jolting-limited fashion or intervenes in a controlling fashion. The control method combines the advantages of a dynamic controller operation with the comfort and safety of controlled operation. This is advantageous in particular in rail vehicles. <IMAGE>
