The unit can be electrically and mechanically connected to a main board (60) via a multi-pole plug (2) and catch lugs (12, 14) with catches (15, 16). In order to be able to release the plug connection and remove the unit easily and in a controlled manner, a release lever (35) with a pressure surface (37, 38) can be pivoted from a connection position (81) to a release position in which the pressure surface (37, 38) bears on the main board (60) and generates forces to release the plug connection. The catch lugs have actuating surfaces (24, 25) to which the spring loading of the catch lugs (12, 14) can be applied.
