Method for operating the electrical power supply in an electric vehicle

A method for operating the electrical power supply in an electric vehicle which has a first battery for the electric drive of the vehicle and a second battery which can be charged via a DC/DC transformer and has the purpose of feeding other loads in the vehicle. In order to ensure a high degree of efficiency of the transformer, the DC/DC transformer is only activated if the load requirement made of it has reached a prescribed minimum value which is favourable for the degree of efficiency.
