The external conduit (3) prepared from the same material as the fuel tank (1) is formed by an endless extruded pipe (5), which at least adjacent to the fuel tank-side connecting area (6) has a collar-shaped welding flange (7), which locates on the outside of the wall (4) of the fuel tank (1) and is tightly connected to the tank by a welding union (8). The collar-shaped welding flange (7) runs at a distance to an end-side pipe connection which at least sectionally extends into the outlet aperture of the wall (4) of the fuel tank (1). The external conduit (3) is connected with at least one its two end areas (9,9') to the fuel tank (1). The fuel tank (1) together with the welded-on external conduit (3) is treated to reduce permeation. USE/ADVANTAGE - The tank is simple and cost-favourable in its prodn., offers a good recycling possibility, and has permeation of the complete system reduced.
