Known display walls are limited in terms of their dimensions, cannot be used universally and have little effect. The outlay for the storage and the driving of the prismatic individual elements is too high. These disadvantages are to be eliminated. The novel drive wall is composed of individual prisms (3) which are arranged on an axis (4) in a vertical or horizontal row and have in each case one internal drive and one or more internal light sources. The supply lines of the drive mechanism and the light sources run through the inside of the axis (4). The display wall is used for information, decoration, display and advertising purposes. <IMAGE>
