PURPOSE:To provide a fault diagnosing device capable of easily performing additional correction without requiring much time for the arrangement of alarm anlaysis knowledge obtained from a professional maintenance engineer, developing a fault diagnostic expert system in parallel with the system development of a diagnosis object system, and dealing with even any type of alarm occurrence pattern. CONSTITUTION:When an alarm is accepted by a processing part 11, a processing part 12 refers to the alarm analysis knowledge 2, and finds a device in a doubtful range and confidence corresponding to the alarm. Then, a processing part 13 synthesizes the confidence of plural devices in the doubtful range in accordance with plural alarms. Then, a processing part 14 performs decision by comparing synthesized confidence with a 'threshold value. |
