PURPOSE:To make possible the appearance of a compact inexpensive printer and facsimile by especially making the constitution of the assembling process of a device wealthy in flexibility, in the overall constitution of an image forming device. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device is provided with a freely attachable/ detachable cartridge, a feeding/transferring unit composed of a feeding part 70 and a transfer part 80, a fixing part 60, an exposing part 40 and a driving part adopting a unit constitution respectively and a chassis 100 positioning/ holding each unit part, the chassis is constituted so as to provide a positioning part corresponding to each unit part, a first surface formed by a metal plate, a second surface formed by bending the first surface into an L-shape, a pair of third surfaces formed by bending both left and right ends orthogonally crossed with the second surface of the first surface in the same direction as that of the second surface and a coupling part coupling the second surface and a pair of the third surfaces. |
