The thread draw-in appliance serves for drawing a warp thread smoothly into the healds and into the reed. The appliance comprises a device for feeding and arranging the heald (15) successively in the warp-thread run-through positions (X3) and for moving each heald (15) from the run-through position (X3) as well as for arranging it in a fit-in holding position (X4). Furthermore, there are devices for providing and fitting in the heald (15) in a holding position relative to a heald stave (29), an air guide (8) being arranged in a space between the heald hole of the healds (15) in the warp-thread run-through position (X3) and a reed-dent interval (12a). At least during the warp-thread run-through period, an air nozzle (20) is directed towards an entrance of the air guide (8) via a heald hole in the warp-thread run-through position (X3). <IMAGE>
