<p>There is described a fitment removal prevention device (26) for insertion within a container (10) having a rigid mouth portion (12), said device (26) comprising a body portion (28) and an incompressible member (38) movable with respect to the body portion (28) and biased from a first position in which the device (26) is insertable into the container (10) to a second position in which the member (38) engages the container (10) and exerts a force on the mouth portion (12) in a first direction having a component transverse to the direction of extraction of the device (26) from the container (10) so as to thereby retain the device (26) with respect to the container (10), the device (26) being adapted such that the member (38) exerts an increased force on the mouth portion (12) in said first direction upon the attempted extraction of the device (26) from the container (10).</p> |
