Circuit arrangement for evaluating the switch position of a push-button switch

To detect the actual value of the switch position of a push-button switch which contains a plunger coil into which a ferromagnetic core plunges proportionally to the push-button position, a circuit arrangement is specified which contains a resonant circuit formed with the plunger coil and which generates damped oscillations after appropriate excitation. To detect an actual value corresponding to the switch position, the amplitude of the damped oscillation is determined after a particular period of time.
