PURPOSE:To facilitate correction of time difference or the like, by displaying the hour hand with electro-optical display element picture image, and using ordinary hands for minute hand and second hand so that the hour hand and minute hand may be corrected separately. CONSTITUTION:A dial 1 is constituted with liquid crystal cells, having plural electrodes 13 resembling the form of hour hand. By applying a driving voltage to one of them, a picture image 2 showing the hour hand appears. Ordinary hands are used for minute hand 3 and second hand 4. As for the correcting means, a hand position correcting means of the hour hand 2, and a hand position correction means of the minute hand 3 are provided. The hand position correcting means of the hour hand 2 has a correcting circuit including a counter when correcting at 1-hour intervals, so that the hour hand 2 and the minute hand 3 can be independently rotated in either direction. |
