PURPOSE:To clear the uncleanly state of the microphone of KARAOKE (orchestration without lyrics) by incorporating a microphone installation part and a sterilizing means. CONSTITUTION:A sterilizing device for microphone 2 is provided with a box- shaped sterilizing device main body 4 and a fan body 6 which is provided in front of the main body 4 and which can freely be opened/closed. An installation part 8 on which the microphone M is installed is provided for the internal part of the main body 4. The form of the installation part 8 is not especially restricted, and the microphone M is freely attachably/detachably restrained to a restraining rod 12 having a restraining part 10 at a tip, for example. The suitable number of ultraviolet sterilizing lamps 14 becoming the sterilizing means are installed in the main body 4 in accordance with the installation position of the microphone M. The lamps that abundantly emit the ultraviolet rays of 253.7nm, which are considerably strong for a sterilizing operation, are desirably used for the lamps 14. When a lamp radiating the ultraviolet rays of 185nm having an ozone generation operation is used at the same time as the sterilizing ultraviolet rays of 253.7nm, air sterilization and deodorization can be executed by using the generation of suitable ozone. |
