ABNORMALITY MONITOR OF DC-DC CONVERTER FOR ELECTRIC AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE:To provide an abnormality monitor of DC-DC converter for electric automobile in which undercharge and overcharge of an auxiliary battery are prevented by monitoring the output voltage of the DC-DC converter and delivering an alarm upon abnormal drop or increase of the output voltage. CONSTITUTION:The abnormality monitor for DC-DC converter 1 in an electric automobile wherein an auxiliary battery B2 is charged by a main battery B1 comprises an abnormality monitor circuit 10 which monitors the output voltage of the DC-DC converter 1 during operation thereof and actuates an alarm to deliver an abnormal output voltage alarm upon detection of abnormal drop or increase of the output voltage.
