PURPOSE:To prevent toner from being wastefully used at the time of starting the operation of a device by providing a delay driving control means which stops the rotation of a photoreceptor until a set delay time set by a delay time setting means elapses and drives to rotate the photoreceptor after the set delay time elapses. CONSTITUTION:The delay time setting means 41 is formed so that it can set the delay time Ts corresponding to the rise time Ti of the bias potential Vd of the photoreceptor. The setting means 41 is in a key input system, and is connected to a controller 40 controlling and driving the entire device and including a CPU, a ROM and a RAM, etc. In such a case, the delay driving control means is constituted by utilizing the component elements such as the CPU and the ROM of the controller 40 and the functions of the respective elements, and it stops the rotation of the photoreceptor 11 at the time of starting the operation of the device(time t1) or before the set delay time Ts(=Ti) elapses, and starts to drive to rotate the photoreceptor 11 after the time Ts elapses. |
