PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a motor by arranging an elastic supporting member so that the member is in contact with a part between the vicinity of a node other than the central part of a vibrator part and a piezoelectric element and a fixing stage, and supporting the vicinity of the node other than the central part of the vibrator part and the piezoelectric element. CONSTITUTION:A supporting means 102 is fixed to a fixing stage 101. A piezoelectric element 104 is bonded to a vibrator part 103 and fixed and supported at the vicinity of the central part with the supporting means 102 so as to form a unitary body together with the fixing stage 101. A moving body 105 forms a unitary body together with a central shaft 110. The moving body 105 is pushed to and brought into contact with the vibrator body 103 with a compressing means 106. An elastic supporting member 108 is arranged so that the member 108 is in mutual contact with a part between the vicinity of a node other than the central part of the vibrator part 103 and the piezoelectric element 104 and the fixing stage 102 one another. A driving circuit 107 applies the driving signal having one node part at a part other than the central part with respect to the radius direction of the vibrator part 103 and the piezoelectric element 104. The vibrating wave is generated in the vibrator part 103, and the rotary motion is generated in the moving body 105 with the compressing means 106 through frictional force. |
