PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy setting of the coefficient to eliminate the ghost by using the burst signal in addition to the horizontal synchronous signal for the reference signal to eliminate the ghost and also using the transversal filter the delay time of which is set long. CONSTITUTION:The signal given from intermediate frequency step 1 undergoes the phase detection to obtain the video signal. The video signal thus obtained is then supplied additionally to the connection of delay circuit 6 featuring the micro-delay time and the delay circuit constitute by connecting plural units of circuit 6 in series via 1st group coefficient circuit 5A featuring the variable coefficient. At the same time, the carrier chrominance signal obtained from the video signal via BPF4 is applied additionally to the connection of the delay circuit via coefficient circuit 5B and 5C of the 2nd group featuring the variable coefficient so that a proper phase difference may be secured for the carrier chrominance signal between the addition points adjacent to each other and that the plural units of circuit 6 may be contained between the addition points. Then the output of the delay circuit is applied in the form of the compensation signal to adder circuit 9 which uses the output phase detector circuit 3 as the input, thus the ghost contained in the signal being suppressed. |
