PURPOSE:To lighten and miniaturize this system, to facilitate starting, to unify it with a fluorescent lamp and to obtain interchangeability with an incandescent lamp, by winding a resistance wire in a ring-shaped, coil-like form corresponding to a diameter of a bulb of the ring-shaped fluorescent lamp, and by arranging the wire near the bulb. CONSTITUTION:A neck portion 2, to which nose a base 3 is mounted, is installed to a center of an upper surface of a ring-shaped, shade-like device body 1. A circular fluorescent lamp 4 is mounted along a lower surface forming a specular surface of the main body 1, and an annular current limit element 6 is installed between an upper surface of a bulb 5 of the lamp 4 and the main body 1. The element 6 is produced by winding a resistance wire 8 on a ring-shaped winding core 7 formed in a diameter corresponding to a diameter of the bulb 5. The winding core 7 is made of magnetic substances, such as, ferrite, etc., and formed in a hollow shape with a rectangular section, and its weight is lightened. The element 6 is connected inseries with the lamp 4, and both end portions of the resistance wire 8 are disposed so that the end portions be located near the electrodes 10, 10 of the lamp 4. 9 shown in the figure is a lighting system. |
