<p>PURPOSE:To effectively prevent corrosion of tow carbon steel tubes insulatingly connected for a heat exchanger by simultaneously applying ACs of constant voltage and high, low frequencies to the tubes and so regulating an adding amount of corrosion inhibitor that calculated corrosion resistance becomes a value specific or more. CONSTITUTION:Two corrosion sensing carbon steel tubes 2, 2 for a heat exchanger are inserted into acryl cylinders 6, and both ends are closed by rubber cotters 4. Part of circulation water branched from a circulation water tube 1 of a heat exchanger through a flow regulating valve 7 and a flow meter 3 is introduced into the cylinders 6, and the waters discharged from the cylinders 6 are again combined, and returned to the tube 1. A corrosion resistance measuring unit 5 is connected to the tubes 2, 2 via leads to continuously measure corrosion resistances, and results are recorded. An operation of a corrosion inhibitor pouring pump separately attached to the tube 1 is so controlled that the measured resistance becomes a specific value or more to manage the adding amount of the inhibitor such as phosphonic acid, etc.</p> |
