PURPOSE:To provide cleaning and disinfection methods to clean and disinfect medical implements with hypohalogenic acid of superb cleaning and disinfecting ability and to make the hypohalogenic acid harmless quickly. CONSTITUTION:This cleaning and disinfection method for medical implements comprises immersing a medical implement in a treatment liquid containing hypohalogenic acid and then applying DC to the treatment liquid from a positive electrode and a negative electrode by reversing plural times the DC current. One more cleaning and disinfection method comprises immersing a medical implements in the treatment liquid containing a halogeno compound and then applying DC to the treatment liquid with the positive electrode and the negative electrode repeatedly reversed plural times. |
