PURPOSE:To improve the water imperviousness, flowability, homogeneity, etc., of a hydraulic material contg. water, hydraulic cement and aggregate while maintaining its strength, durability, etc., by dispersing a swellable material such as bentonite, etc., in a swelled state into the hydraulic material. CONSTITUTION:A mortar is produced by mixing 3 to 8 pts.wt. aggregate (e.g. sand) and 0.5 to 1.5 pts.wt. water with 1 pt.wt. hydraulic cement. On the other hand, a slurry is produced by mixing a 0.03 to 0.2 pt.wt. swellable material such as bentonite, etc., with 1 pt.wt. water. Then 0.2 to 1 pt.vol. of the slurry is mixed with 1 pt.vol. of the mortar to produce the objective hydraulic material. Thus a prescribed amount of water is retained within the swellable material and accordingly, the bleeding water is hardly generated. Since the swellable material has such water retention capacity, the mix proportion of water in the hydraulic material can be increased and the flowablity of the hydraulic material at the time of placing it can be improved. |
