METHOD FOR FORMING PROJECTION OF PLATE, AND MALE DIE FOR PLASTIC WORKING

PURPOSE:To realize the working with high precision where no breakage or the like of a part is generated by striking the whole area of the surface to be struck of a plate toward the inner part of a projection to be formed. CONSTITUTION:A projection 1 of the prescribe shape is formed to a plate (b) by the plastic working using a forming machine A. A female die 2 and a male die 3 are provided, and a striking body 4 to form the projection 1 in the plate (b) is formed on the tip part of the male die 3 in a projecting manner. A recessed part 5 is formed on the tip surface of the striking body 4. The striking is executed on the whole area of the surface 6 to be struck of the plate (b) toward the projection 1 to be formed. This constitution allows the thickness of the struck plate to effectively work on the formation of the projection, and reduces the quantity of extrusion of the male die to the plate as much as possible.
