In the case of a cell connector for lead-acid batteries whose halves, which consist of a pole or ear part (5) and of a pole link (10) are connected by means of a spot weld through an opening in the cell partitioning wall, the sides of the ears facing the partitioning wall are provided with vertically running grooves (11) which in this case cross through the insertion region (12) of the wall opening. These grooves (11) represent vent ducts for the opening (which is used as a mould) of the plastic wall and prevent air enclosure and open bubbles remaining at the upper end of the melting zone, by means of which corrosion can be caused in the interior of the connection subsequently as a result of possible access by acid. <IMAGE> |
