<p>The process involves forming the object (1) which may represent persons, animals, vegetation, etc, the object having a frame producing a three-dimensional form of the object, covered in a pasted paper envelope. The envelope is then festooned with electric cable (5), carrying a number of small lamp bulbs. The complete assembly is then decorated with paint (6).Finally the paint is removed from the lamp bulbs of each festoon. The framework may be formed from welded metal, covered by metal netting. The paint used may act as an adhesive for the lamp festoons and create a reflective surface for the lamps. The lamps may be distributed regularly over the surface and each be of less than 1 watt rating.</p> |
