This control system comprises a control circuit associated with each transducer (Dij). Each control circuit includes at least one addressing memory (MAij) and a transducer memory (MTij). A central control circuit (CC), connected to data transmission lines (DSi) and selection lines (GSi) makes is possible to read or load all or some of the addressing memories (MAij) during one frame time. The central control circuit (CC) globally or partially triggers transfer between the addressing memory (MAij) and the transducer memory (MTij) over a very short time compared with the frame time. Applications: touch VDU screens, videophones, medical imaging, control of UHF antennae. <IMAGE>
