Filter arrangement

The filter arrangement has a filter for mounting in a filter housing furnished with a filter base, the filter element being fixed to the filter base. The filter element essentially comprises a support arrangement constructed for example as a perforated tube onto which the actual hollow-cylindrical filter body is pushed. By means of a closure cap screwed onto the end of the perforated tube, the filter body is axially secured and sealed against by-passes.
