PURPOSE:To prevent scummings and to uniform an image, by a method wherein a thermal transfer sheet consists of a substrate, a thermal transfer layer formed on a surface of the substrate, and a thin film of silicone series rubber containing methyl hydrodienepolysiloxane formed on the other surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer sheet consists of; a substrate of paper, synthetic paper, or plastic film etc., a thermal transfer layer containing leuco dye formed on a surface of the substrate, and a thin film of silicone series rubber containing methyl hydrodienepolysiloxane formed on the other surface thereof. The thin film of silicone series rubber can be formed on the substrate by a method in which; a solution of a mixture of long-chain organopolysiloxane having bifunctional main chains and methyl hydrodienepolysiloxane shown by a formula [(n) designates 1-100] is coated on the substrate and dried, and thereafter being set under heat. |
