摘要 PURPOSE:To make an unskilled person easily execute relay setting work and to quickly cope with a change in system constitution. CONSTITUTION:Various kinds of equipment constituting a system and their electrically connecting states are inputted to a system monitoring and controlling computer (S1) and, by assuming a system accident, facility operating states, facilities affected by the accident, the state of the accident, etc., are set (S2 and S3). The equivalent circuit of the system is generated when the accident occurs based on the route from such a facility that can become the power source of an accident current to the accident occurring point (S4) and the voltage and current distributions at the time of accident are found by performing fault calculation by using the route (S5). The extent of the power failure is retrieved by examining the operability of protective relays existing on the route under a certain set value and the above-mentioned voltage and current distributions by taking the operating characteristics of the relays into consideration (S6 and S7). Then the reliability of the system is automatically judged by judging the accident finding possibility of the protective relay nearest to the assumed accident occurring point, propriety of the extent of power failure, etc. (S8).
