<p>Cyclic nitroxide radicals are prepd. by oxidising aliphatic or cyclic satd. diamines, pref. with m-chloroperbenzoic acid to form cis-azodioxy derivs. in equilibrium with the dinitroso derivs., and cyclising, by photolysis, the dinitroso derivs. The nitroxide radicals are useful in magnometry, as polymsn. iniators, and as free radical captors.</p> |
