INSULATOR FITTING USED ALSO FOR STRINGING AND FASTENING WIRE

PURPOSE:To provide an insulator metal fitting used also for stringing and fastening a wire with no problem instrength even by the use of the same material as a general stringing fitting. CONSTITUTION:An engaging groove body part 15 close to a strain clamp connecting clevis part 7 and an insulator connecting connecting link part 11 used also as stringing connector protruded from a fastening tool mounting body part 18 in an insulator fitting 20 are arranged orthogonally to each other, seen from the insulator fitting axial line 21. Although a maximum bending moment thus acts on the engaging groove body part 15 by the tension in the paper face crossing direction of an extended wire mounted on the connecting link part 11 through the stringing connector, this bending moment acts on the long side of the rectangular cross section of the engaging groove body part 15, so that no problem is caused in strength.
