Device for picking up, loading, transporting and unloading a batch of merchandise previously placed on pallets or otherwise. The invention relates to a system making it possible to place the merchandise (1) to be transported on a pallet carrier of one or more levels and to raise them, transport them and unload them with a semi-trailer road unit. It consists of a pallet-carrier assembly placed on a loading ramp (2) which is raised onto a semi-trailer road unit equipped with ramps (6) for lifting with the aid of a winch (8).
