A description is given of a pivotable actuating lever (10) which, at one end, can be pivoted about an articulation axis (14) into a hollow (12) or the like and, at its other, free end (18), exhibits a receiving means (20) for a cylinder lock. According to the invention, the actuating lever (10) exhibits, in the region between said receiving means (20) and the articulation axis (14), an indent or through-passage (22) which projects inwards from the outwardly oriented surface and into which through-passage (22) there is introduced an insert (26) which spans or fills said through-passage and consists of a material which, in terms of its colouring and/or surface structure, differs from the material of the actuating lever (10) (Figures 1, 2 and 3). <IMAGE>
