The invention relates to an air-conditioning system for mounting on the roof of a vehicle, with a condenser which lies at the front in the direction of travel and the nest of tubes of which, which run transversely with respect to the direction of travel and have a refrigerant flowing through them, are mounted in two side walls. The end and top of the condenser are covered by a protective cover which has air-inlet openings. Compared to a known air-conditioning system the efficiency of the air-conditioning system according to the invention is substantially increased in that the condenser is provided on its bottom and/or top with cooling baffles which divide the cooling air, which passes through the air-inlet openings, into partial flows which each flow in a specific manner through individual subregions of the nest of tubes (Fig. 3). <IMAGE>
