<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a method for rapidly and surely making a position of a die in the width direction thereof correspond to a position of a film in the width direction thereof. CONSTITUTION:A melt polymer is extruded from a die 1 in a firm form. A static electricity is applied to the extruded film material by a corona discharge electrode 4 disposed on a cooling drum 3 in the width direction thereof. The film material is cooled while being made to adhere to the cooling surface of the drum 3 by the adhesive power of the static electricity. An oriented film is produced, as required, by orienting the unoriented film at least in one direction. By locally changing the adhesive power of the static electricity in the width direction of the film material, a thickness change mark is applied to the unoriented film. The mark is detected in a succeeding process. The correspondence of the position of the mark of the film to the position of the die 1 in the width direction is specified. In this method, the position of the film corresponding to the die 1 is detected.</p> |
