PURPOSE:To actualize such a scroll compressor that is less in the number of scrolls and able to secure the specified built-in compression ratio, and to dispense with any increase in the scroll number of a shaft through type scroll compressor as well as to make a fine diametral high-pressure ratio design achievable. CONSTITUTION:At the final stage of a compression stroke, a sealing point at the inner circimferential side of a compression space 11 a is formed by a lap cutoff part 3aa and two angular branch lap parts 2b and 3b installed at semicircularly outside from the counterpart lap cutoff part 2aa, making a moving distance so as to become lessened, and finally the compression space is formed at the almost semicircular length of two laps 2a and 3a, whereby its minimum volumetric capacity is made smaller. With this constitution, since a scroll number is not increased, such a small sophisticated compressor as being small in diametralness, excellent in accuracy of fishing and less in mechanical loss and leakage is thus realizable.
