PURPOSE:To eliminate troubles like a defective image because of erroneous identification, jamming and others by controlling a recording section and a feed means so that the recording work suitable for a medium to be recorded based on the given judgement is carried out. CONSTITUTION:Required image processing is carried out by a control section, and then an image signal is introduced to a recording head 8 of an image forming section. A carriage 7 on which the recording head 8 is mounted is positioned at first on the printing start site on the left side, and scanned in the arrow 20 direction while being guided to two guide shafts engaged each other slidably by an ink tank carriage motor 33 and an head tank carriage motor 32, and ink is jetted out of the recording heads 8. Scanning is carried out from one end to the other end of a recording paper 2, and recording for one line is carried out in the ink nozzle width (recording width) arranged in parallel with the recording heads 8. In that case, recording heads 8 are disposed in the order of cyanogen, magenta, yellow and black, and the formation of image on the recording paper 2 is also carried out in the above-said order. |
