PURPOSE:To obtain the ink useful for ink-jet recorder, not impairing clogging properties, fixation and feathering properties by further blending a coloring matter and water in a specific ratio with polypropylene glycol. CONSTITUTION:This water-based ink comprises (A) about 3 pts.wt. of a coloring matter, (B) about 51-93 pts.wt. of water, (C) about 0.01-3 pts.wt. of polypropylene glycol, preferably further (D) a proper amount of a humectant such as polyethylene glycol or glycerol and (E) a proper amount of an infrared light absorber to cope with bar code printing, a UV rays absorber to improve light resistance or hydroxyethyl cellulose to improve clogging properties. |
