PURPOSE:To prevent driving loss of a valve system and generation of large working noise, etc., by restricting a rise in the working acceleration level of intake/exhaust valves at the time of controlling small working angle. CONSTITUTION:A disc housing 35, which is interposed between a driving shaft 21 and each cam shaft 22, and which is vibrated in the radial direction of the driving shaft 21 by means of a driving mechanism 39, and an annular disc 29, which is rotatively held on the inner circumference of the disc housing 35, and by which a difference in rotation phase is generated between the driving shaft 21 and the cam shaft 22 following eccentric movement, are provided. The rocker arm 61 provided on the disc housing 35 through a rocker shaft 60 is interlocked with vibration of the disc housing 35 to change a rocker ratio, and the valve lifting level at the time of controlling a small working angle is thus controlled to a small level. |
