<p>Heat treatment installation for die forgings incorporates between the hardening and tempering furnaces an overhead horizontally displaceable dipping device. This is fitted with a vertically displaceable dipping beam for carrying out the quenching operation. To the bottom end of this beam is attached a table for the workpieces which can be changed into a container and can also be swivelled sideways. Preferred, the table comprises a central portion mounted symmetrically on a horizontal pivot at either end of which are attached perforated grab like elements which, when in the open position extend the table, and when closed form a basket. The whole assembly can be tipped sideways, so as to discharge the workpiece after quenching.</p> |
