The holder (A,B) for artificial heart valves (D-F) is firmly fixed to the valve and can be removed firstly after the valve has been correctly fitted, by a transport securing device (K) breaking, allowing the partly collapsed holder to be withdrawn. The holder is provided with a securing component (C) penetrating the heart valve, which is formed so that it only fits in a specific valve type, valve position and valve size. - The holder consists of two parts joined to one another via a threaded connection (G), one part (A) comprising a handgrip which is provided with the securing component. The other part (B) is firmly fixed to the handgrip part by the transport securing device, in the form of a suture holding both parts together. |
