PURPOSE:To property drive a fan without excess power consumption with a simple constitution by composing a third switch for stopping an exhausting means with a member whose shape is changed by a change in an ambient temperature. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 101 is turned on, a switching mechanism 107 obtains an on state linked with the switch 101, a fan 108 for exhausting silicone oil vapor is supplied with electric power and started to rotate and take an exhausting action. A switching mechanism 106 made of bimetal, etc., is arranged in the vicinity of a fixing device roller, so that when a fixing heater 105 is controlled to a prescribed temperature and a temperature in the vicinity of the fixing roller becomes a prescribed one or more, the switching mechanism 106 is turned on. After that, when the switch 101 is turned off, the switching mechanism 107 obtains an off state linked with the switch 101 and the supply of the power to the fixing heater 105 is stopped, but the switching mechanism 106 is continuously turned on because the temp. in the vicinity of the fixing roller is still a prescribed one or more. When the temp. in the vicinity of the fixing roller becomes a prescribed one or below, the switching mechanism 106 is turned off. |
